1. Choose your wallet

Step 1 of 2

Select the wallet you want to assess. Selection alone never starts a scan.

Why assessment matters

Small uncertainties can become expensive risks.

Self-custody gives users control, but safe ownership still depends on authentic applications, trusted updates and careful recovery practices.

Application authenticity

Impersonated apps and unofficial download pages can be difficult to identify at a glance.

Update confusion

Outdated software and untrusted browser extensions can create avoidable security concerns.

Phishing pressure

Fake support pages often misuse urgency to request recovery words or signatures.

No clear baseline

Owners may not know which safety signals to review before storing valuable assets.

Our methodology

A transparent, privacy-first framework.

This demonstration shows how a future assessment could communicate checks without taking custody or requesting secrets.

Knowledge centre

Frequently asked questions.

Does this demo inspect my wallet app?

No. It demonstrates an assessment experience only and cannot inspect an application, extension, device, assets or the surrounding environment.

Will VaultCheck ask for my recovery words?

Never. A legitimate safety review does not need your seed phrase, private key or recovery words. Do not share them with anyone.

Do I need to connect or sign with my wallet?

No. This page contains no Connect Wallet function, transaction request or cryptographic signature flow.

What should I do if I suspect a real problem?

Stop using the wallet for sensitive activity, consult the wallet provider's official support channel and seek qualified independent security advice.
